Shift 6PM - 6 AM (2-2-3 Schedule)
Job Duties:
Receiving
- Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive materials into the plant and prepare for stocking.
- Will work with the receiving clerk and other departments to ensure all shipments are off loaded in a timely manner.
- Maintains any paperwork obtained from the freight lines and turns into the appropriate person.
- Quantity verification of Bill of Ladings that you sign for from trucks received.
- Responsible for ensuring items received are cataloged in the designated areas, per 5S and visual workplace standards.
Cleaning
- Operates various powered floor scrubbers to maintain a reasonably clean floor.
- Checks equipment to make sure it is operating at peak efficiency.
- Follows safety guidelines and safe operating parameters set forth by equipment manufacturer.
General
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Maintains daily sign off sheet for all equipment operated
- Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
