About the Job
Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our TEAM! As the Quality Control Technician, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as performing quality check, inspecting product samples and auditing glaze line operations.
Schedule: B Shift: Sunday – Tuesday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM; Wednesday 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Evaluates quality of tile during manufacturing process to ensure specifications are met.

Evaluates quality of tile during manufacturing process to ensure specifications are met.
Major Function and Scope:
- Performs quality checks on work in progress for thickness, size, gloss, color, etc.
- Inspects product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Audits glaze line operations to ensure applicators are performing efficiently.
- Documents test results.
- Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
- Follows standard operating procedures.
- Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of manufacturing/production experience. Quality control experience preferred.
Competencies:
- Good listening skills.
- Good record keeping skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accurate measurement capability.
- Ability to read and write in English.
