Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Machinist II to join our TEAM! As a Machinist II, we need someone who is ready to provide advanced machining support by producing and repairing precision metal parts for manufacturing equipment while following standard operating and safety procedures.

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus
1st SHIFT
Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Primary Objective:
Creates, repairs, and fabricates precision metal parts used in the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment across Dal-Tile operations.

Major Function and Scope:
  • Produces metal parts for the repair of mechanical and other equipment.
  • Operates manual milling machines, lathes, and other machine shop equipment according to blueprint specifications.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate precision parts.
  • Performs precision measurements using machinist tools and inspection equipment.
  • Troubleshoots machining issues and recommends practical repair solutions.
  • Performs welding (Stick, TIG, and MIG) as needed to support equipment repair and fabrication.
  • Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of work in progress and any problem areas.
  • Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:
  • Knowledge of common metal properties.
  • 3 or more years of industrial machinist experience.

  • Knowledge of word processors and spreadsheets.
