Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Machinist II to join our TEAM! As a Machinist II, we need someone who is ready to provide advanced machining support by producing and repairing precision metal parts for manufacturing equipment while following standard operating and safety procedures.

Primary Objective:
Creates, repairs, and fabricates precision metal parts used in the repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment across Dal-Tile operations.
Major Function and Scope:
- Produces metal parts for the repair of mechanical and other equipment.
- Operates manual milling machines, lathes, and other machine shop equipment according to blueprint specifications.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate precision parts.
- Performs precision measurements using machinist tools and inspection equipment.
- Troubleshoots machining issues and recommends practical repair solutions.
- Performs welding (Stick, TIG, and MIG) as needed to support equipment repair and fabrication.
- Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
- Keeps supervisor informed of work in progress and any problem areas.
- Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of common metal properties.
- 3 or more years of industrial machinist experience.
