Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Body Prep Operator to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials throughout the production process while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. D Shift Schedule:
  • Wednesday: 12:00 AM (Midnight) - 6:00 AM
  • Thursday - Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

What You'll Do:
  • Unload raw materials from railcars and transport them to storage bins.
  • Load raw materials into production hoppers.
  • Monitor material flow through ball mills and spray dryers.
  • Perform quality control testing to ensure materials meet specifications and accurately document results.
  • Monitor equipment and production processes, reporting any issues to leadership.
  • Follow established operating procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with other duties as needed to support production goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to understand and communicate basic English.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using required fall protection equipment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Regularly stand, walk, reach, and use hands throughout the shift.
  • Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Occasionally sit, climb, and balance.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work around moving machinery, airborne particles, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where noise levels may be high.
