About the Job
Job Details:
- Supervises the daily operation of the glaze preparation area.
- Monitors production processes to ensure glaze quality control measures are met.
- Maintains raw material inventories.Schedules production of base glaze for manufacture of required colors.
- Coordinates maintenance needs for departmental operations.
- Ensures operations are within specifications.Interviews applicants and trains employees as needed.
- Complete all required training, including ergonomic, safety, health and environmental.
- Identify and adjust workstation arrangement, work practices, and workflow to reduce risk factors.
- Report issues to supervisor/manager when unable to control risk factor/s.
- Report symptoms of injury/illness and concerns when first noted.
- Participate in incident investigation.
- Use ergonomic equipment provided.
- Demonstrate safe work practices.
- Promotes and adheres to all safety and health policies and procedures of plant.
- Ensures safe and healthful working conditions and an organized work environment.
