About the Job
The Director National Accounts - Commercial Segment is a high-level leader responsible for implementing and guiding the strategic direction of the National Accounts team. This role will assist with formulating and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives, ensuring market presence and profitability within national accounts.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop strategies for pursuing National Account leads and increasing market share for National Account market segments.

· Build and support high functioning, motivated teams.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts.

· Establish and monitor pricing structures and discount levels for new and existing National Accounts to achieve sales goals.

· Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

· Assist in establishing account sales objectives in conjunction with sales leadership to ensure sales strategies align with company goals.

· Collaborate and facilitate effective cross-functional communication with teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of high-level account strategies.

· Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning national accounts.

· Perform other duties as needed.

 

Required Experience and Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.

· 10+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

· 5+ years of management experience.

Other Pertinent Job Information:

· This employee will be responsible for direct reports. 

· The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
